Each one of our cushions is totally upcycled,handcrafted and unique. Made from recycled textiles each Kantha cushion is hand stitched and irregularities being the beautiful norm. As each of the textiles used is decades old they are soft and luxurious to the touch. Traditionally embroidered by generations of Bengali women. The stitching on the cloth gives it a slightly wrinkled, three-dimensional aesthetic. Each work of art is painstakingly hand stitched with hundreds of delicate running stitches to create a truly unique masterpiece.
It has a off white cotton backing and a quality concealed zip.

Due to the vintage nature of the Kantha fabric used, there may be marks, pulls or patches in keeping with the age of the textiles. This ensures that each piece is individual and full of character. Prior to making into the finished article, all textiles have been gently cleaned.
